Transition

As first days go, this one was alright. Time in the kitchen cooking up new recipes mixed with some R&R makes for a good January 1st. The holiday season is over, and it's time to look ahead. In the coming months I anticipate starting my training for the Saskatchewan Marathon in May. I look forward to the poetry class I've enrolled in, starting in February. I'm going to attempt to post a new picture every day on my photo blog.
Most of all, I look forward to this being a year of growth; of learning new things, and maturing in my faith. I want to make the next 365 days of 2008 count.

Yes, we are running partners for the sask half! I loved reading your last 3 posts. A poetry class...I can hardly wait to hear all about that. Maybe you can tell me about that the next time we run together. Ever heard of ChiRunning? I found a book in the library all about it.

Happy New Year, Carmen!

Best of luck training for your half - you and your sister will be wonderful. My husband is running the same half, so I'm going to be out there that day...if you hear someone rooting for you loudly, it'll be me! :)

And I envy your poetry class! I was anticipaing signing up for a creative writing class online until I found it would cost me $800.00 Eek.

I'm still hoping 2008 will be year of finding ways to move out of my comfort zone!
